Admission & Application
In order to get the necessary application forms and necessary information about the application deadlines you will have to contact each university or college.usually the application deadline for foreign students is within  1st of December  to 15th of  March, for courses beginning in August. Some institutes have different "pre-qualification" deadlines which are earlier than this which should be noted

 Agency of Norway for Quality Assurance in Education (NOKUT): Agency of Norway for Quality Assurance in Education  looks after and helps to uplift the quality of higher education in Norway through valuation, accreditation and recognition of quality systems, institute and course provided.Agency of Norway for Quality Assurance in Education  is the official Norwegian ENIC-NARIC center.

Students  who have a identity number of Norway must apply to undergraduate levels at public institutions of higher education in Norway and are processed by a centralised application processing center called Universities and Colleges Admission Service (  Samordna opptak).

Normal prerequisite  to the former education are discussed below.These are lowest requirements fixed by Afency of Norway for Quality Assurance in Education.Noted that institutes may have higher and/or additional requirements for all or some levels.

Academic Qualification
A compilation of country-specific information called the GSU-list (formerly SIS list) states what level of education applicants from different countries need to meet for entry into Norwegian higher education, including any requirements relating proficiency in English. For courses where the language of teaching is Norwegian, proficiency in the Norwegian language is also required.

Undergraduate Program
Completion of secondary education at advanced level, equal to passing the exam at the end of Norwegian secondary school, is the  basic necessity to get entry to Norwegian universities and university colleges.Students from  many countries requires minimum one year of completed studies at the university level is required in addition.

Some study programs have special admission necessity, usually relating to special subjects or fields of study from secondary school. You can consult with the institute for more knowledgwe about these special qualifications.

Masters programs
Admission requirements are decided by each university and university college based on an academic evaluation of the applicants.Applicants for Masters level should have obtained an undergraduate/Bachelor's degree or equivalent of at least 3 years' course. The degree must confine courses equal to at least one and half years of full-time studies in a subject related to that of the program applied for.

In some cases, the 1st (and in some cases the 2nd) year of study at a foreign higher education institute will not be recognized as higher education in Norway.
